Canalecchia is part of a typical large Tuscan farmhouse which retains many of its original characteristics. It has been restored to retain many of its original features, including high chestnut-beamed ceilings and stone fireplaces.

This is a Tuscan villa with a traditional, luxurious feel and which offers the ideal location for self catering holidays in Tuscany.

Set in 3 hectares of grounds, you can enjoy total peace and quiet, yet walk to the nearest restaurant and have all shops etc only a 10 minute drive away.

Furnished and equipped to a high standard, with everything you need to experience a relaxing Tuscan holiday.

The accommodation consists of:

Large sitting room with double windows looking out to the mountains and hilltop villages across the valley.  

Original fireplace with wood – burning stove, comfortable sofas, television, Video player,  DVD player, music system, extensive collection of books, videos / DVDs and cassettes, games. There is a CD player for guests to listen to their own collection.

Dining kitchen, fully equipped with all you need to cook and enjoy the local produce. With electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker.

Three bedrooms – a double, a twin and a single (with extra bed available). There is a double sofa bed in the sitting room. A baby bed and chair can be supplied free of charge.

Bathroom with bath and shower.

The garden is completely private, with outdoor dining and barbecue, and sunbathing with wonderful views across the valley.

Work on your tan or sip a glass of Prosecco in complete privacy and tranquility. 

The swimming pool (3.5 metres x 7.5 metres) has magnificent views to Barga and down the Serchio Valley and is completely secluded.
